This shot is powerful in the way Tynisha protects her emotions. The camera frame and composition is well calculated where she is more to the left.

The space at the back is blurred to centre our attention more on her. The accessories and makeup allow us to identify her style and star image.

Tynisha Kei – Love hurts

When the singer/artist sings directly to the camera a common convention in music videos, the viewers can automatically connect to her emotions-we are given an exclusive view into her mind and emotions

The angle at which this is shot creates a sense of distance as she looks much smaller in comparison to the space she is in.

The black stripy wall paper in black and white is stylish and modern matching the colours of her clothes. The sync of her makeup and close matching the sofa and wallpaper draws a close relationship with her environment.

Once again the left hand side of the shot is blacked out – obscuring us from the rest so that we can focus on her.

This combine of action of two shots is a creative and smart technique to use in showing how she is addressing her inner consciousness. To add usual image to her thoughts would help direct the audience’s attention.

GN.A – I’ll back off so you can leave

This is a wide screen shot shows the whole room. The room is all in neutral colours connoting solemnness. The choice of tint and the angle at which this is shot is well calculated to establish the scene.
