The beginning of music video revolution
was in 1980s as music videos were
accessible on television. Music was
available for 24 hour with the launch of
MTV, some may called it the death of radio. wardrobe and subtle make-up. This toned
down blond appearance was again inspired
by Marilyn Monroe.
Michael Jackson- Thriller video released
and the most successful and influential in
music video history, being 14 minutes
long. After this, more and more music
videos began to tell a story varying from
love stories to break-ups.
1990s
This was the year of boy bands and girl groups with ballad singers Take that and pop girl group Spice girls topping the charts. This type of music was geared to entertain teenagers as they were the main target audience who watch shows like MTV and Top if the Pops.
